Hello, my name is Soma Kawachi the javelin thrower. This is my first post, so I would like to introduce myself briefly.
I used to live in the State of Michigan in the US for five years. I was born in Saga Prefecture which managed to obtain its title of “least attractive prefecture” among 47 prefectures in 2022. I moved to America from Japan when I was 9 and came back when I was 15. I don’t really have any good memories living there.
From here I’d like to talk about my life as a track and field athlete. I stared doing track and field after I entered high school and I was Kitakubu before that. I used be a octathlete when I was in high school. Well, at first I wanted to be a sprinter but I realized that I wasn’t cut out for it. My high school PB in the 100m meters was 12.03. I didn't start throwing javelin in earnest until I entered university.
