I disagree with the idea that wild animals can be kept in zoos. There are two reasons why I think that way.
First, I believe that being wild is one of the rights that animals originally have. Even if they are at the risk of losing their lives, they are to live in a natural setting. In other words, they should be as they are. Humans should not intervene in the existence of every individual wild animal. Secondly, unlike a few decades ago, the educational purpose would be met today without the living specimens of wild animals because we can now understand to some extent the importance of them by viewing some video footage and pictures of them together with some accessible online information. Keeping a few individuals per one species at one zoo results in amounting to thousands kept in all zoos in the world.
