Japanese consumers are among the beneficiaries, and some of them will buy these newly imported items.(16)

Secondly, Japanese consumers will buy more imported goods because they are in some cases cheaper than the domestic ones.(19)
If a free trade agreement is put in practice, the tariff barriers of the target items will be lowered.(19)
Accordingly, the prices may become low enough to attract more consumers.(11)
