The price is going to be, JPY3000 excl.tax, which is 200 yen higher than the existing Volumes 1-4.

I sometimes read the Tweets of The US president, Donald Trump.

The other day, he said in his tweet proudly he decided to stop attacking Iran 10 min before the US army would really initiate its operation.

Very serious issue, BUT

What made me laugh was some of the comments posted by his followers, but ones basically against his policies.

Many pointed out his mistakes in his using the words and expressions to tell people in the world this quite serious issue

like;

Are you 8 years old, Mr.President?
cocked and loaded ⇒　locked and loaded
sights ⇒ sites

One example:
Have to go back to school I think, 🥺🥺 I learned that it was “lock and loaded” cocked and loaded sounds more like a bad movie.......😂😂😂😂

I will go to trip next week and I think how many gigas my smart phone use if I use it to car navigation.

There are expeliments of it and they say smartphone not use so much gigas.

I was sitting on the rear seat of a city bus when two high-teen girls got on and sat on the other side. There was room for one more passenger between us. There were a dozen of passengers on board and all of them were seated.

Soon, the leaked noise of up-beat music they were listening to thru the earphones began to annoy me.

Then they started to eat snack bread. But there was no smell of it.

While eating, one of the girls’ cellphone rang and, she answered and began to talk.

I was surprised and stare hard at her, but she pretended not to recognize me and kept on talking. It was not loud, though. This meant she knew talking there was not allowed.

I wonder if that should be overlooked?

Well, I do NOT mean she was sure to blame severely; I
feel rather otherwise.

These are the prerequisits：

・The municipal bus administration
prohibits passengers’ oral communication through cellphones while on board.

・Her talk didn’t seem urgent.

・Her voice was at all time low throughout the talk.

・No one told her to stop talking because they weren’t seemingly annoyed beyond the limit of patience.

Honestly, I have come across several similar cases on a bus and a train recently, which had been out of tke question from the point of public mannars’ view.

But at the same time, our society might become less benevolent and mutually monitored.

Are we going too far under the name of social justice?

I don’t want my children to be like the girl with a leaked noise, biting a bread, and talking on the phone in the bus.

But what’s the difference between talking with her friend off line and on line with a moderately controlled voice?

Or am I becoming a more irritable, narrow-minded middle-aged person?

Former Prime Minister of Japan, Yoshiro Mori was poor at English.

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton was visiting Japan.

Mori was taught by his staff how to greet President Clinton in English.

"When President Clinton comes, please only say 'How are you?' and 'Me, too.' in English. After that, no more English and just smile, OK?"

"OK." Mori answered.

When President Clinton arrived, Mori was very nervous.

He said to President Clinton, "Who are you?"

Clinton thought it was a joke. So he replied, "I'm Hillary's husband."

Then Mori replied, "Me, too."

When I was young, I couldn't understand why middle-aged or elderly people often mumble to themselves as they take some actions.
But now I understand because I myself do the same thing. I often find myself saying "Yoisho!", as I stand up or sit down, or saying, "I have to do ...., don't I", even in the case nobody should answer that.

Maybe, it cannot be helped. For early-elderlies, who forget easily, can't do things without making sure what they are about to do by saying them aloud to themselves.

Today is the Eiken(STEP Test) Day. Many students are taking the test. Some of my students are, too. I've been keeping my fingers crossed for them.

Speaking of the Eiken, I subscribe to Eiken mail magazine in order to obtain the latest information about the test. I received the latest issue on May 31 and was deeply impressed by an article introduced in the magazine.

The topic was about how to memorize English words effectively and efficiently. A university professor answers to a senior high school student's question about finding difficulty in memorizing new words.

The professor suggests to take advantage of the mechanism of a human brain. He gives six tips to how effectively remember new English words.

Here is the link to the web page these tips are explained in detail. I really have had the same idea with this professor（no academic evidence, though）. His insightful perspective endorses my belief very much. Inspired by his theory, now I am even more enthusiastic about developing a new method of better memorizing English words in the very near future.
