I'm saying Goodbye to 7 years of my gypsy life. Finally, I have decided to go back home, to my own house, not a rental one, I mean. It has been a lot of fun. I moved three times. Can you believe that? If I have a chance again in the future, foreign countries will be my option.

No.76  “ŠeŽÒ:¡_ŒI”ª    “Še“ú:2019”N07ŒŽ01“ú (ŒŽ) 01Žž54•ª

Well, I donft quite understand what you mean. Is your own house near your rented flat that youfre vacating?

No.77 Yes “ŠeŽÒ:‚Ü‚³E‚Ó‚ƒvƒ    “Še“ú:2019”N07ŒŽ02“ú (‰Î) 09Žž39•ª

That's right, kuriya. My own house is close to the rental one. When I rented a room for the first time in about 20 years, the room located within just 7 minutets' walk from mine. And I repeated moving with my office always easy to access.

No.80  “ŠeŽÒ:‚¯‚¢‚±    “Še“ú:2019”N07ŒŽ06“ú (“y) 07Žž38•ª

Jealous! I have never lived by myself in my life...Not even once...@@

No.81 Right‼ “ŠeŽÒ:‚Ü‚³E‚Ó‚ƒvƒ    “Še“ú:2019”N07ŒŽ06“ú (“y) 08Žž01•ª

It's a lot of fun to live by yourself.

You can watch as many "videos" as you like...

Then, what videos??

No.72 exorbitant: the most important adjective for the TOEIC Test takers. “ŠeŽÒ:¡_ŒI”ª    “Še“ú:2019”N06ŒŽ23“ú (“ú) 15Žž54•ª [•ÔM] -- Impressed a lot! : (12)

IIBC, the TOEIC Test provider has announced to release its 5th volume of quiz book on 25 June.

The price is going to be, JPY3000 excl.tax, which is 200 yen higher than the existing Volumes 1-4.

How expensive...

No.71 When he makes a quite serious tweet “ŠeŽÒ:‚Ò‚æ    “Še“ú:2019”N06ŒŽ23“ú (“ú) 03Žž51•ª [•ÔM] -- Impressed a lot! : (9)

I sometimes read the Tweets of The US president, Donald Trump.

The other day, he said in his tweet proudly he decided to stop attacking Iran 10 min before the US army would really initiate its operation.

Very serious issue, BUT

What made me laugh was some of the comments posted by his followers, but ones basically against his policies.

Many pointed out his mistakes in his using the words and expressions to tell people in the world this quite serious issue

like;

Are you 8 years old, Mr.President?
cocked and loaded Ë@locked and loaded

One example:
Have to go back to school I think, 🥺🥺 I learned that it was glock and loadedh cocked and loaded sounds more like a bad movie.......😂😂😂😂

No.73 Trump “ŠeŽÒ:¡_ŒI”ª    “Še“ú:2019”N06ŒŽ23“ú (“ú) 16Žž10•ª

The expression appears to suit him, though.

I mean it fcuz hefs a very very dangerous guy, not for Iran, I mean for, sayc Russian prostitutes.

No.67 good news “ŠeŽÒ:‚Ü‚³E‚Ó‚ƒvƒ    “Še“ú:2019”N06ŒŽ23“ú (“ú) 03Žž12•ª

Thank you for your posting on how much data smartphone can need if we use it for a car navigation.

Because I am also going on a driving trip next week, I was just wondering and got relieved to see the data you introduced.

The car navigation system which had been equipped in my car was broken and removed last month.

I will try the application in the near future.

No.74 Very impressive. “ŠeŽÒ:¡_ŒI”ª    “Še“ú:2019”N06ŒŽ24“ú (ŒŽ) 00Žž53•ª

The size of data traffic is considerably small.

I have a question.

Do you use a smartphone while running the internet navigation service, or a device with a larger display such as a tablet computer? A smartphone display seems to me a bit small.

No.61  “ŠeŽÒ:¡_ŒI”ª    “Še“ú:2019”N06ŒŽ20“ú (–Ø) 18Žž53•ª [•ÔM] -- Impressed a lot! : (11)

I was sitting on the rear seat of a city bus when two high-teen girls got on and sat on the other side. There was room for one more passenger between us. There were a dozen of passengers on board and all of them were seated.

Soon, the leaked noise of up-beat music they were listening to thru the earphones began to annoy me.

Then they started to eat snack bread. But there was no smell of it.

While eating, one of the girlsf cellphone rang and, she answered and began to talk.

I was surprised and stare hard at her, but she pretended not to recognize me and kept on talking. It was not loud, though. This meant she knew talking there was not allowed.

I wonder if that should be overlooked?

Well, I do NOT mean she was sure to blame severely; I
feel rather otherwise.

These are the prerequisitsF

EThe municipal bus administration
prohibits passengersf oral communication through cellphones while on board.

EHer talk didnft seem urgent.

EHer voice was at all time low throughout the talk.

ENo one told her to stop talking because they werenft seemingly annoyed beyond the limit of patience.

Honestly, I have come across several similar cases on a bus and a train recently, which had been out of tke question from the point of public mannarsf view.

But at the same time, our society might become less benevolent and mutually monitored.

Are we going too far under the name of social justice?

I donft want my children to be like the girl with a leaked noise, biting a bread, and talking on the phone in the bus.

But whatfs the difference between talking with her friend off line and on line with a moderately controlled voice?

Or am I becoming a more irritable, narrow-minded middle-aged person?

No.63 I can imagine the situation very clearly. “ŠeŽÒ:ƒŒƒ‚ƒ“    “Še“ú:2019”N06ŒŽ21“ú (‹à) 12Žž23•ª

I understand how much you got irritated then.

But I also wonder why we get more irritated to see somebody talking on the phone in the train or in the bus than to just see two people enjoy talking to each other.

They should be the same.

Yeah, thatfs exactly what I meant. Unless too loud, talking on the phone while you are in a train/bus might be admittable, though Ifm not sure.

Thank you. But these days I find it tough to retain a few sets of information temporarily during listening to a conversation or reading a passage in order to answer the questions that follow. It is necessary as taking notes during the TOEIC Test is prohibited. This is not, I think, the ability of English. But anyway, I'll do my best in the test.

I have done my work today. Today and tomorrow, my students are having semester tests. They have prepared for the tests of 5 subjects here, Fukupro Self-Learning cram school. I sometimes get tired of my teaching job, because "fighting" with many junior high school students is exhausting for an early-elderly man like myself. Looking at more than 20 of them sitting in a row, filling the classroom, and trying hard
, however, I also feel very proud of my students and my business.
I hope they will show me wonderful results and make me very very happy next week.

Former Prime Minister of Japan, Yoshiro Mori was poor at English.

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton was visiting Japan.

Mori was taught by his staff how to greet President Clinton in English.

"When President Clinton comes, please only say 'How are you?' and 'Me, too.' in English. After that, no more English and just smile, OK?"

"OK." Mori answered.

When President Clinton arrived, Mori was very nervous.

He said to President Clinton, "Who are you?"

Clinton thought it was a joke. So he replied, "I'm Hillary's husband."

Then Mori replied, "Me, too."

When I was young, I couldn't understand why middle-aged or elderly people often mumble to themselves as they take some actions.
But now I understand because I myself do the same thing. I often find myself saying "Yoisho!", as I stand up or sit down, or saying, "I have to do ...., don't I", even in the case nobody should answer that.

Maybe, it cannot be helped. For early-elderlies, who forget easily, can't do things without making sure what they are about to do by saying them aloud to themselves.

Today is the Eiken(STEP Test) Day. Many students are taking the test. Some of my students are, too. I've been keeping my fingers crossed for them.

Speaking of the Eiken, I subscribe to Eiken mail magazine in order to obtain the latest information about the test. I received the latest issue on May 31 and was deeply impressed by an article introduced in the magazine.

The topic was about how to memorize English words effectively and efficiently. A university professor answers to a senior high school student's question about finding difficulty in memorizing new words.

The professor suggests to take advantage of the mechanism of a human brain. He gives six tips to how effectively remember new English words.

Here is the link to the web page these tips are explained in detail. I really have had the same idea with this professorino academic evidence, thoughj. His insightful perspective endorses my belief very much. Inspired by his theory, now I am even more enthusiastic about developing a new method of better memorizing English words in the very near future.

More power to my dream!!

It may be a liitle difficult for high school students who are apt to look for a shortcut to understand it, though.
