No.95 Southern Awajishima Island 投稿者:今神栗八 投稿日:2019年07月21日 (日) 14時20分 [ 返信] |
The southern-most part of Awajishima Island is connected with Shikoku by a highway bridge called "Oo-Naruto-Kyo" bridge.
Overlooking the Naruto Strait which is famous for the giant whirling currents, the surrounding areas are popular among tourists as there are quite a few tourist spots. One of them is here, Uzuno-oka, a hill-top retail complex for the sightseers just like a Michi-no-Eki which includes local produce shops, restaurants, food stands, and some Insta-genic spots.
White-bait fish or "shirasu", blowfish or "fugu", daggertooth pike congers or "hamo", sea urchins or "uni", and onions. I ate a raw white-beits on a bowl of rice or "nama shirasu don" and found a crane game machine for onions.
